Just a Dream

Smoldering heat beneath my feet
Schreaching skulls behind me
Nothing but dense forest in front of me
I run

I can't run away from the noise
I can't stop the heat
And my endless forest begins to end
Soon there will be no where to run

Where is my hero?
Where is my knight?
Is this the end?
Is there no fight for life?

The heat begins to cool
The skulls begin to fade
At last I wake to find reality
In a world that has passed me by
