Jungle
Pitter, patter
Drip, drop
Wet green leaves.
Plants rustle
Creak, shriek
Of the rainforest's sleeves.
Thunder crackle
Boom, clap
Pour of dark rain
Tweet, tweet
Birds' feet
Soaked sugarcane
Quiet night
Dark sight
Tomorrow is another day.
