June
Pleasant greetings June,
You bring with you the rise
Of a new brimming full Strawberry Moon
The last full moon of spring.
Amid your warmest longer days
And the shortest nights, you introduce
The summer solstice the first day of summer.
You make the children jump for joy
(Yay, School is out!)
A time of infinite fun.
Romance inspires cozy night
Endow with poetic charm
Under the flickering magical moon.
You bring with you, the fickle gaiety
Among the rhythm of the cricket's chirps,
Frogs croaking after a refreshing rain,
Pecking of the woodpecker,
Cooing of the mourning dove,
And mocking chirps of the mockingbird.
You brighten the world with luxuriant engrave gardens
Cascading soothing and calming fragrant blooms.
However,
You only bring the fun for a little while
Then it's gone,
As Autumn comes like a thief in the night
And steal you away..
