Jump Off the Balcony

Should I jump off the balcony?
And put an end to misery?
What keeps me from ending my life?
This emptiness cuts like a knife

I wait for sleep that does not come
My heart hurts; my feelings are numb
In the trench of my misery
I lay in the dirt around me

I cannot pray as I used to
God, help me to cling on to You
I'll not jump off the balcony
Because You've been sustaining me

Hey Laura, I wrote that poem about 2 years ago so don't worry. I am not suicidal now. But thanks for your concern.
