Jump

do you ever wish
you had someone
that would
hold you
when you’re sad
or when you don’t feel
pretty enough
or just don’t like who
you are

do you ever wish
there was someone
to help you
when you needed it
or when you
couldn’t bear
yourself anymore
so you wished
you could jump of
the brooklyn
and just stay
in the quiet

how peaceful
would it feel
to have
the wind
in your hair
to have
the cold
surround you
while you drown
in silence

but then that someone
would come
dive in
to find you

when you were trying
to find yourself
they found you first
