Judgement

Some folk can’t stand the things I write and say that all my work is trite. It doesn’t fit their perfect view of everything they know is true. Forgive me if I do not care, I've learned the pain it brings to share. But pain is just a part of living and won't deter what I am giving. Join those who throw that fabled stone for when we’re judged we stand alone. You’ll never, ever close me down for freedoms’ speech is worth your frown. So play your games and say your worst and do not let your bubble burst. Believe in only what you know and only reap the seeds ‘you’ sow. If you don't like the things I say the choice is yours to stay away. But if you stay remember this all that glistens is not bliss. Ivor G Davies

I hope no one from "Soup" is giving you grief, but if they are ignore them or block them. Don't let them bring you down! I like your writing, Ivor! Love, KIm

Kim, no sorry nobody is giving me any grief over my themes or poetry.....this is purely an exercise is how you should face adversity which probably rather boringly is a way a lot of my poetry goes. Truth is, life can be a bitch and problems numerous and I get fed up with, and sorry for, people who can not get above it all and decide to ride above them and be happy in spite of the hand they are being dealt.

Love the dreary poem, and the rhythm that came along with it. Sounds like all you need is a listening ear and a hug. Thanks for sharing this poem.

Thanks for the comment, actually despite the poem which was not personal, it is just an attempt to show how conflict should be accepted.
