Judgement

Judgement is a funny thing we all do. It's been fashionable for centuries, Yet still we scorn those we deem judgmental. The great Shakespeare practiced in the humours To entice his vast audience to judge, Yet today it's a problem to spread lies; To voyeur someone's traits for protection. Today, someone who values the mellow Is prude for excluding the hot-headed; The knowledgeable, too proud for the clutz. And so why do we scorn the judgmental Yet hold writers to such a high esteem? For in our writing, we are all critics; In our writing, we are the judgmental.
