Judge Not

JUDGE NOT!

“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged”…….saith the Lord
then if you are not he
who are you to judge me?

With duplicitous lips you condemn
when just yesterday
you called me friend.

Though I’ve made mistakes
surely, quite a few
my humblest intent was posolutely not to hurt you.

My action yield faults
as we all sometimes do
but your grandiose eyes will not see that to be true.

So you hurl your verdict and bang your gavel
refusing to concede any other thought
least perspectives unravel.

Acquit and forgive
for it is not your place
to ‘cast out lots’, least ye be disgraced.

The ‘good book’ guides
so we can be free
to dwell together in perfect harmony.

The ‘Lord of Host'
so shall it be
the only one worthy enough to, judge me!

this has a lot of great line on why we have no right to judge others. I enjoyed this one, Carlene.

Hi Carlene , I really like this one. Truly no one has the right in this world to judge. I wrote one called Who am I, that kind of takes a different look at it. Anyways great write. Blessings Carl
