"GOD SEES NOT AS MAN SEES, FOR MAN LOOKS ON THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE , BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART." 1Samuel 16:7
Sometimes we hear things about ourselves that arent very pleasant. It hurts, whether it's true or not, it hurts. If the things we hear are true we can learn from the expereience and turn a hurtful experience into a positive one by changing our character or unattractive habits. But if what we hear is NOT true we can learn from that as well. While it's wrong to gossip it's also wrong to do things that aren't exactly proper. If you don't want to start a fire don't strike any matches. We should remember the best way to promote Christianity is to act like a Christian. So how do we react? The choice is ours. Do we act as Our Father would have us react? Who is our father? Do we react as a Child of God, or do we just --- give 'em Hell.
My God knows the way I am.
He knows my every thought.
He knows the things I've said and done,
And seen the dreams I've sought.
He knows my heart for what it is,
Knows each and every mood,
Depending not on what He's heard,
From those who think me crude;
For Man looks on the outer crust,
And sees not what's inside.
He hears but words that oft times twist,
And turn the truth to lies;
But God looks on the heart of Man,
And judges that instead,
Not foolish thoughts or actions,
Words that twist inside the head;
So do not judge your neighbor, Friend.
You don't know what's inside.
You only know the words you've heard,
That play tricks with your mind.
If you truly love your friend,
The way you love yourself,
You'll make the same excuse for him,
That you make for yourself.
