Judas' Mind

I am human, flesh and bones,
by my weaknesses controlled,
won't you understand me.

Coldly dark of heart at times
but if I may ask, who is not?
I am fragile just like you.

I am damned for betraying God;
tell me, brother, if I did not do it
where would His grand plan be?

I caused His death, I was greedy,
but I followed and loved Him truly,
for one sin will I be judged solely?

I did a thing beyond my control
that was predestined all along,
I was just a helpless pawn.

I am Judas, have mercy on me.
