Joyful, Green May

My May

came into my city again.

May usually loved me

and always we were

good friends,

May and I.

But now, my May

does not love me. Even a little.

He is always young and beautiful.

I am sorry, but May has forgotten

that he helped me be born, many years ago.

During this cold, long winter,

I longed for him very much.

But joyful, green May

has gone past my house

and has not even looked

into my window.
