Joyful Darkness

Just traveling through
As I do relinquishing the daylight
In love with the darkness
For I can rest and watch the shadows play
With my imagination
Where the weary repose
Joyful darkness
Tales of men and women
Reaching out with limbs about the trees
Gliding across a paper moon
A hint of pearl around their soul
Searching for what was so long ago
Joyful darkness
Perplexed in a forest of the barren departed
Forever broken hearted
On an endless journey home

beautiful piece portraying another side of darkness. So many fear the dark because you don't know what lurks in the shadows. Great write. Continue to share.

Kind of like silhouettes huh dear lady!? Dancing in the dark~"Hello Precious & Gifted Laura Mckenzie!"~I like the depths which you seemed to have journied unto while composing this write here dear~it almost seems as though a bit of wisdom is imparted within this piece from within a not so direct way!? Believing one thing? Finding its opposite? And searching within its end?~"Love To You, John!":)~On we go....
