Joy of Unfastening
Inside the skull
Tenderly kept a bud
Petals are held
together tight
Containing all the
beauty
The driving force of
the world
Like that of fingers
in strength
Clinched into a fist
The fist looses its
fingers
In love and in
kindness
And falls flat to
turn
To dissolve into a
palm
Like that of the bud
Unfasten the tight
by the petals
In rain, in light
To bloom into a
flower
A huge release---
A great
revelation---
A freedom gained
A relief from pain
A beauty
The real delight of
the heart is born
The flower drops
its petals
In freedom, in
relief
But gets wings of
reason and logic
To turn, to
transform
Into a baby -bird
Like that of a moth
Morphed into a
butterfly
In ecstasy, in joy
Test its power of
knowledge
In its first flight.
