First Corinthians 1:25 – Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
He’s the reason I still pray
He’s the love that made a way
He brings hope with the light of day
He is peace and joy and I’ll always say…
Whatever happens – be it good or bad
when, in darkness, I stumble and all I’ve had
brings me tears and fears, feelings so mad
I yearn for joy and a sense of all that’s glad
He’s the answer to my worries, all that I need
He hung on a cross, where His wounds would bleed
He stilled all the shadows with a love that would feed
He is the One who saved me from sin and greed
Whatever happens – be it pain or grace
when this life is over, I’ll know love’s embrace
meeting with my Savior in that lovely place
where all the tears and fears He will surely erase
He’s the beautiful story written on my heart
wherever He is, that is where I’m set apart
knowing victory comes from the best part,
the love from a Savior who offers a fresh start
When the time is right and I know death is near
I’ll look to the One who makes everything clear
He is the reason I can rest in the hope so sincere
I’ll meet the Love that God Himself did engineer
Without this glorious reunion, I wouldn’t see
the beautiful story that has surely set me free
this amazing Jesus, who hung on that tree
to tell me that I’m loved and I’ll forever be…
alive in heaven above, where He is the King
where I’ll glorify Him – I’m sure to sing
bright morning is coming, when I’ll cling
to a risen Savior, the joy that love will bring!!!
