Joy

Joy. That's all I feel. I don't know why, but I can't stop smiling.
I just feel light, like I want to dance with someone.
I feel bubbly like someone just gave me the world.

I don't know why I feel this way.
I need to share. I need to know I have someone,
To help amplify my happiness.
I need to celebrate, and everyone can join.

I can talk to anyone, so I'm floating here in bliss;
In my laughter, in my joy, in togetherness, in my wonderful thoughts.

I feel happy with myself,
I feel happy with my friends,
I feel happy with my teachers,
I feel happy with the universe.

I don't know why I'm so happy, I just am.
I need to sing, and melodies pour out.
I need to shout, and the whole world is my stage.

I want to feel this way forever.
I love feeling this way.
And I have everyone to go to, everything for comfort, and all I have;
Is to slowly rise, in my elation, and my joy,
With nothing to stop it.
