Journey to the Moon

A spaceship named after a Greek goddess
 Roars with a fiery glow
She was the goddess of the moon
As well as a huntress with a bow

A mission to the moon after many years
But they will not land on the moon
It's a test run for a later mission
 Which will be soon

 Artemis pulls back her bow
as a spaceship zooms through the sky
The heavens put on a show
As Zeus roars from on high

Loved the Greek mythology. I suppose it costs too much to send someone back to the moon. Lovely poem.

You have described it so well.. I do wonder why they took so long to send people to the moon again..

Great poem Joseph. I remember in childhood in school, writing a report about Zeus . I enjoyed this :)
