Journey To Judgement
The drop of each step pounds broken pavement
To the bent leaning of chipped guitar strings
That whine in between the thumping bass kick
Of each heart beat which speaks in part speech mute
In chains is unchanged as sun parts the veil
Lifted in your honor as cymbals crash
Symbolizing wrath unstained but parched in shells
Giving peace to karma with time flashed still
Our arrival is closed caption to truth
Lies ring screaming in high pitch clarinet
Beckoning eyes on what reeds failed to prove
A useless move grooves a hairless net spilled
Unapologetic silence feels made
By harmony twisted authority
A song for the ages that stages gave
Like part of me ripped a fourth of me loose
Gavel struck percussion concludes the loop.
