Journey of the Sunflower
Sun setting
sunflower growing wings
flying toward the pinkish horizon
praying for the warmth that it may bring.
Sun rising
sunflower plodding back to its plot
flashing its great yellow lion mane
smiling to the yellow children
at a bus stop in the rain.
