Journey homeward
In the echoing chamber of my soul
I grapple with the shadows of my essence
In a desolate expanse of loneliness
I search for solace, a gentle caress
To wrap me in tender embrace
Igniting embers that thaw the frost within
As tears of hope mingle with the warmth
Reclaiming moments of elusive peace
In the sculptured curve of a chest, I find
Sanctuary, a haven where my sorrows rest
Hopes, though faded, softly sleep
While memories of the moment are made
Mounting a path that leads homeward
To the hush of ancient kin, where serenity whispers upon the wind
In the silent embrace of ancestral lore
Where peace reigns eternal
