Joseph
Joseph
A phone call brought the bad news,
you have left us unexpectantly.
Dazed and shocked, we try to understand,
we go though the motions,
while our insides are torn and tears are falling.
Mom, Dad, grandparents, brother and cousins,
we all are hurting. We miss you!
You were a smiling face in our middle,
working, playing guitar, loving your family,
children, stepchildren and friends.
In your big heart you found room for all.
Friends from all walks of life came to your service,
so many the place could barely contain them all.
They wanted to show their love for you,
their devotion and care.
Monetary riches were not your's in this life,
but you died a rich man.
The measure of a good life shows in the legacy
you left behind, the loving deeds you did,
not in Dollars and cents.
You are leaving a huge hole in our lives
and in our hearts, but we are grateful for
the time we had with you.
