How's mommy's little angel?
I can't believe you'll soon be seven
Oh how time passes by
It seems like yesterday you were born
It's such a beautiful day
I thought I would share it with you
The sun is shining so bright
And the sky s so blue
The birds are singing so sweetly
That they must be singing for you
Oh, how I hate to leave you
But it's getting late and
Mommy's got to go
But before I do I want you
to know
That I will always love you
And I promise to return soon
Until then rest in peace
