Jolted

This is the saddest day of my life, But the day dosen't know that, the sky is so blue and the sunshine so bright. No one looks and nobody cares as I stumble my way through the hours, Everything just continuously drags, I don't eat I don't drink I am just here. I fear the coming night and the dreams it will hold, But it's so far away as the time drags slowly on and on. Eventually the light begins to fade, I know the time is near to the dark horrors that await, I realise all of this as I am jolted by the twilight.

Oh my goodness!!! This poem is about trauma. It's really sad. I love it. Have you wrote any other poems??? Like I said, I do really like this poem. I think free verse would be fun to try.
