Johnlow And The Yonder Faerie
in the garden
of alms houses
far
from yard
to door
then on
to pasture grasses
raw
then more
a faerie from a
yonder land
came crying
laid at
Johnlow’s floor
and cry
did cry
a tear’s galore
then spake
did she
when Johnlow saw
her wyng-tip
looking ghastly sore
up stood Johnlow
he start’d fro
and sew
did sew
from woven sakke
n’ wrapp’d it best
‘pon dainty back
she flew
n’ flew
with cautious ware
back to yonder
over there
