John Doe

Rise and shine The world outside is awaiting us two Across leas of the sun Just Me and you We shall glide like water droplets On petal hues Then evaporate into the air Like wet morning dew Swaying like a summer breeze Would gracefully do Melting like strawberry ice cream Under a sunlight, imbued Like skates on smooth ice Slithering our way through Across the rivers of Evermore We shall serenely canoe Painting all mountains red Like a dawn anew Rise and shine, If only you knew

What the lost miss in your words Farah is so sad. It makes you think, and think as I read. Have a lovely Sunday :)

such a soft tone to this, with a touch of expectation which only one can feel and express from deep within'....the use of "mountain red",reminds me of the kundalini forces of energy, which rise-up,like the caduseus, intertwining 'till it reaches the higher-self,only to take flight on a new journey of discovery........hope all is well where you are, peace , jaybird

What a charming poem. Lyrical and visual. I don't know if I have seen too many of your poems before. But if this is an indication of how you generally write, I love it. andrea

well, dear farah I'm back to comment as I sense your desire to know many opinions for your debate class however I think the only way it will happen is through snail mail as I think the computer is to open to being blocked if you know what I mean. You've got SoupMail with my address and perhaps you would send me yours.

The romantic and passionate feel is very good then the surprise of the humor at the end adds flavor like triple flavor sherbert. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Sara

Something is blocking my ability to respond to your blog, farah ... I've tried a couple of times but my opinion (LOL) was rejected and it sounds like from what came up on the screen that its coming from your world ... I've never seen that kind of message before and I didn't write it down but got it twice when I tried to write to you. Good luck with your class!! I'd try to send it through SoupMail but it was more my "opinion" than "knowledge" ... smile ...
