Joe's Milk Bar
Joe drops his purple dragster bang! So many scratches from mornings just the same.
Mrs Jones smiles expecting him.
"Milk please" he grinned from ear to ear.
His birthday you see and treats are given for one as young as Joe.
Years past and Mrs Jones has moved onto green pastures, Joe honors her in keeping it the same for young and giddy children.
Joe's Milk Bar if only in his name.
Past memories of kindness make Joe's day as he smiles at Maggie Jones a granddaughter, who's face wears the same name.
Joe ages and less children visit him they've all grown and moved away.
His birthday you see, he opens his favored treat, well earned for a man a sweet as he.
