Jimmy

As Jimmy rode his broomstick pony
I'm Roy Rogers he would yell
With silver pistols at the ready
He was the good guy you could tell
No horse theif dared to face him
As he galloped across the kitchen floor
Roy Rogers is my hero
Even if he's ony four

I like the poem Vernette. It made me smile, but I am wondering who is four? Is it Jimmy or Roy because it would seem it is Roy. The sentence, if you're referring to Jimmy, should read "Roy Rogers is my hero, even though I'm only four." Also, you have thief spelled incorrectly.

Very clever write here, Vernette and great imagery!! I can see your Jimmy now ... smile ... One little correction (please excuse the English teacher in me) ... the word thief has the ie backwards ... smile ... Great selection here at the Soup to be a feature this week. Congratulations!
