For the young readers, you had to be there to know what it was like. We need another young president, and patriotic president, for these changing times.
JFK

What do you remember,
About this day, in '63?
Do you remember Dallas,
And the horror there to see?
JFK's assassination
As he was driving by
Camelot was dying
We could only watch and cry
Where would we have been today,
If that die had not been cast?
Would we be reflecting
On a very different past?
Would the parties get along?
Red and Blue sides be the same?
Not as they were way back then,
Now play a different game.
When Kennedy took office
These words of his still fit
It's Not what this country does for us
But what we do for it
The Washington we see today
Has questioned this a bit
What can this country do for us?
What can we do to it?
