Jewels From Jesus

Jewels from Jesus
in earth and air,
sparkling in nature.
Oh see God there!

A sky of diamonds
A sun of gold
A moon of pearls
God daily unfolds.

Earth's beauty and treasures
no one can buy.
For the saved and the unsaved,
nature delights every eye.

To all, we are given
twenty-four hours of the day,.
to waste or to spend wisely
we all have our say.

But sooner or later,
death closes life's door.
Death comes to the rich
as well as the poor.

Whether one spends eternity,
in Heaven or hell,
depends on our beliefs,
so friend listen well.

The jewels of salvation are offered to all,
who believe in and accept Jesus' clarion call.
Your sins will be forgiven, and Jesus will say,
"Welcome to Eternity. I'll show you the way."

Hi Darlene. The acceptance of Jesus into our lives can truly make every day a blessing. God's love and joy are all around us and God has entrusted is to bring that love and joy to others. Your poetic words are a gift to us readers and I'm glad you are here at the soup. Have a beautiful day, my friend and God bless you.... Robert.

Thank you, Robert for your kind words. And I am equally happy that you are here on the soup also. As a body of Christian poets, it is our privilege and honor to spread the good news of the gospel to others here on the soup. And some day we will hear Jesus say. "well done, good and faithful servants......"

Amen to that, Darlene. We all seem too preoccupied with our cellphones and tablets to really see what is around us, and take joy in it. Lovely write. Viv x

The spiritual flow of your write depict an image that conveys the message within. Tells the readers that life is a tale of coming and go and that all is vanity.... Cling tight onto the Lord for you will gain the hereafter while adventure in life is market and ends of it is Zero. Your write is wise and brilliant.....love.........A.M.

My first comment, Dorian, and a welcome one. Thanks for the 7 and for your spiritual insights. We Christians are here to salt the earth with His message of love and salvation so that none will be lost. The jewels Jesus offers are free to all who accept them. Happy Labor Day! ~~Darlene
