Jetsons Were Ahead of their Time

Jetson’s TV show was out of sight
We could barely wait to see it on Saturday night
No wait, it was in the morning, well anyway
This high-tech family really made our day

They showed face time before it had been invented
We laughed at the thought, until the room was all scented.
They showed George the dad making a lot of money
For pushing one button. That’s really silly, right, honey?

But now we have things we saw on that screen.
Cartoon show created by cartoonists with a big dream.
What amazed us back then has come to fruition now.
I just have to say, pioneers would go “wow!”
