Jet Black Before Dawn
discarded, dismissed in rain
faint arrows of moonlight, peering through diagonal blinds
i hang in the shadows
drink pus, eat silicon
and believe in nothing.
rain is only until the darker, jet black vastness unwinds the lesser space gray of clouds.
when you sleep, i awaken.
i look at my hands
and they become mine.
