Jesus Said Come Follow Me

"Come follow me" was the voice I heard.
As I began to read God's holy word.
I was anxious to receive
a heavenly invitation.
So I accepted the gift of salvation.

"Why me?" was the question
I had pondered.
So many "empty" years
I had wandered.
So I knelt down and invited Jesus to come in,
he washed away my stains,
my darkest sin.

He's brought to me satisfaction
and love worth finding.
His joy in my heart is God's perfect timing.
I cry tears of joy I once never had.
I now have joy in my soul...I am so glad!

Why not invite him in to your life as well.
He loves you much more
than words can tell!
"Come follow me" - hear the master's call.
Eternal life is freely offered to all.

He awaits for you each day and night.
He'll bring to your heart true delight.
You'll find a true love you can only obtain,
by inviting him in-just call on his name!
