Jesus Meets His Followers At Sea

Jesus Christ came to live on earth
to bring good news to those that's near
He came with His message of salvation
offering His love to all who did hear

The church of Jesus lived near the sea
there He taught His disciples what's true
bringing to them His authority on earth
with God's approval, Jesus would do

Jesus sat on a boat at the seaside
calling all there, listen on your iPod
this was the church of that time
divinely created by the sovereign God

This was where Jesus said come
the meeting of those He had elected
sinner's who saw self full of sin
Jesus loved them never to be neglected

Jesus meets His followers at sea
bringing His church united as one
even on the boat, He brings them peace
amidst the storms proving He is God's son

(?I've written this thinking of Jesus and his disciples(his church) meeting at the seaside and there Jesus taught them his word.)

Wish he would return in the flesh, Gordon, His spirit seems to be lost on so many souls these days. .Brilliant poetry

I can just picture the scene Gordon, the crowds listening to him preach, we may not be able to see and hear him preach but his words he left for us all to read. Hope you're well and enjoying the day. Tom
