Jesus Loves You
By the appearance of raged animal
she threw me that last glance
of Jesus's love
there was no other option than
embrace that notion of hers
at least temporary
until red bulb
turns green
Jesus loves you
with lump in the throat
didn't dare to pronounce that mistrust saying he was a scapegoat
whose free of charge martyr services
mortgaged upcoming generations with faith in him
he was a scapegoat who cashed us in well
and we
instead of properly sealing the deal
we're eating each others faces
