Jesus Is the One

Everyone's life starts With wonder excitement and bliss Those wonderful years We all come to miss But through it all There was one who always looked out Of course my mother did That was never a doubt It's a man I've never seen Who always calls me son Through doubtless faith I've come to know Jesus is the one He works through other people And in my life I've come to know The Bible's teaching What you reap is that you will sow Because all the teachings In the Bible are just Stay away from anger Untruthfulness and lust All these things are said to you And to him you should run For guidance in life Don't you know Jesus is the one He walketh beside you Everyday of your life Hoping one day we'll Overcome all this strife And learn from one another Like we know we should To overcome the hatred in our minds If we only could Learn to live without greed and envy Wouldn't that be nice Because in the end It's us who pays the price To live in a perfect world Wouldn't that be fun And we can o ly get there my friend Because Jesus is the one
