Jesus Is Risen
The real meaning of Easter
is not chocolate eggs or such
or rolling an egg down the hill
it's God's son crucified, a special touch
This special touch upon Calvary's hill
brought about by our fall into sin
for God sent Jesus as our substitute
taken our sin upon Himself our soul to win
For three days lying in a tomb
Jesus had died everyone thought for good
but on the third day came a miracle
Jesus has risen now on earth He stood
Believing in the fact of the resurrection
brings new life for all in Christ
to know this Jesus living within
rejoice and believe Jesus has risen!!
(As a Christian believer Easter is a special time to rejoice in the truths of the resurrection, God is Great.)
