Jesus Comes With Our Distress

When disappointments descend on you,
And your chosen plans comes to naught,
That your suffering was so intensified, 
And made your heart to shrink or quiver.

             Look up to Jesus,
             Who has borne all your griefs,
             Grief unlocks abundant grace,
             Be - cause Jesus
             Comes with all your distress and 
             Grace comes in times of trials.

When your heart is bowed by sorrow, 
And all around you seem so dark,
That your understanding fails your situations,
And God seems ever so far away.

            Look up.................

When you cannot pray  or praise God, 
And God's promises are not confirmed for you,
That doubts arise about God's love for you, 
And you now think all is lost.

             Look up................
