Jesus Christ
Praise Him for His Holy descent to earth
Revere his Virgin Mother giving birth
Annoint His head and feet with Oil of Myrrah
Illuminate His Mother Mary's care
Spiritually His soul was blessed
Extolling His Father at God's behest
Teacher He was to all who stopped and heard
Honour his forbearance of wrath incurred
Exemplary His traits for all to see
Lauded he was when died at Calvary
Obeisance His selfless sacrifice
Redeemer He is of man's wayward vice
Deliverer He's there at our demise
