Jesus Christ

Let’s take a moment and really think about this man. He came here as a mortal with just one plan. With grace and valor, he came here to die. How many of us would do that, would any of us even try? As a mortal man he shared all of our fears. He knew exactly what he was in for, but still chose to come down here. Imagine his pain, the ridicule and torture. This was the right hand of God, Man’s true enforcer. With dignity and honor, he took every lash. Each thorn on that crown, every bloody gash. They spat in his face disrespected by us all. He still carried that cross, for us he stood tall. He stood face to face with the darkest parts of the human soul. To defend, love and save all of us was his only goal. When life brings destruction, chaos, death and loss. I just think of this man who hung up there on that cross.

The restraint, patience and love it took for God the Father to watch his son go through the flagellation and crucifixion is something I cannot fathom. The great depth of this I was able to sense more after I was blessed with my own son.

Nicely done, Mark. God is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit all four in one. There was a plan for salvation for people to see the visual understand because they could not understand the voice. So, he came down from heaven and became man was judged by men and sacrificed. God was the only one that could do this and open humans minds and hearts.
