Jesus and His Signs -John 20: 30,31
The only begotten son of God
this Jesus came sent from heaven
come He did to reveal His father
bringing salvation to all He would gather
Jesus showed His authority being God
showing His power to all around
those that needed healed and forgiven
came to Him so all to astound
Throughout all the signs Jesus did
John's gospel doesn't contain them all
but sufficient is penned to believe
no excuse at all so no need to stall
Jesus is the Christ the Son of God
this gospel declares this be true
so you can believe it fully so
for in this real life is so ever new
Jesus selected these particular signs
for in His heart seeks many to believe
providing the means of grace and mercy
so that whosoever can will truly receive
(Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.)
