Jessy

Lazy on the park bench, reading a book, You briskly walked past, ignoring me, I closed my read and slowly stole a look, What I saw has ever since stayed with me, Oh Jessy, Jessy, I then knew, I was falling in love with you! Minutes later you came to where I sat, you greeted me with a casual smile, Your golden hair flapping under the hat, Sat quietly next to me for a while!! Oh Jessy Jessy you then knew! I was falling in love with you!! Days past, an evening at the local pub, elegant you sat legs across on chair, smiling, rocking to music in the hub, I wanted to be with you, didn’t dare! Oh Jessy! Jessy if you knew, Why did you not just ask me to? By the end of summer as shadows grew, We were meeting often all night and day, Not chance, it was by design we both knew, If you were in love why didn’t you say? Oh Jessy! Jessy they all knew! I was madly in love with you! Days will roll into months, years into decade, But my love for you, Jessy, never ever will fade!
