It's kind of funny how things work out in the end Sad but not confused about the time spent But you were always there even when i lied When i wasn't there you were to cover mine They always say You don't know what you got til it's gone But damn if i knew it would have hurt this bad I never woulda asked you to hold on Last week made me think a lot Cry a lot than again think a lot I thought about how a year ago we ended things On valentines day basically it was my last shot Last call to try and keep me in that special spot I would say you don't know how this feels But i'd be lying cuz thats how you feel Before the days, weeks than months of no contact Than finally the moving on I'm not trying to peice things together again Or even make you feel sorry for me I just want you to realize that i know I know the heartbreak that you knew so long ago
