Jerusalem the City of God
Will live forevermore
Enemies can surround Jerusalem
But Jerusalem will never be destroyed
Jerusalem is a City with a Covenant
Jerusalem has been destroyed twice
But it is still alive
Because of the God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob
Jerusalem has been besieged 23 times
But it is still alive
Because of the God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob
Jerusalem has been attacked 52 times
But it is still alive
Because of the God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob
Jerusalem has been captured and recaptured 4 times
But it is still alive
Because of the God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob
God’s boundless love for Jerusalem is Eternal
Jerusalem is where Abraham bound Isaacs
And placed him on the sacrifice
Jerusalem is where Jeremiah and Isaiah
Penned the principles of righteous
In Jerusalem, David carried the head of Goliath
In Jerusalem, Solomon built the second temple
Jesus Christ died and rose again in Jerusalem
And when they attack Jerusalem again
Jerusalem will remain alive
Because of the God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob
Jerusalem the City of God
Will live forevermore
Enemies can surround Jerusalem
But Jerusalem will never be destroyed
Jerusalem is a City with a Covenant
The God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob is the Faithful God
And so Jerusalem and its people will Remain in Israel
