Jennifer Ann

I know you had a hard life
But know you were never alone
If I had found you sooner
My sisterly love I would have shown

I remember your smiling face
From across the classroom
I thought that is my sister
Maybe I will talk to her soon

Years went by
And you vanished from my life
You went on and became a mother
And I became someone’s wife

I thought maybe one day
Our paths would cross
But in my heart now there is a hole
And I am mourning your loss

Do you look down and see me now?
Your little sister sitting here…
Thinking about what could have been
And holding back the tears

We just know God has His own will
And we can only guess at his plan
But I know one thing
You will always be missed Jennifer Ann

Nice wording and rhyming. Just a couple of small details: In the first line of the last verse, you have to capitalize the H of "his". Also, I believe you wanted to include "own" instead of "on". Everything else looks good.
