Jellyfish Stars

The stars are jellyfish,
The planet is a cloud.
Now our only wish
Is to touch the ground.

We live in space
In a hot air balloon
Longing to see the face
Of the Man on the Moon

The poem creates a charming, dreamlike world by reversing familiar images: stars become jellyfish and the planet becomes a cloud. ⭐️🪼🌍☁️ Its compact rhyming quatrains give the longing for solid ground and the mysterious Man in the Moon a gentle, storybook quality.🌝
