Je Me Souviens
I could remember the bad days so clearly
like a newly opened wound
has more come to lay out upon us
with a trickling evil that stays unsurfaced
this day that the sun has come across
is it as disasterous as it was
I could remember th way to our hideout
where no one could find us
the path is wrought over with moss
will you lose your way
Im waiting here for you, alone
is it as disasterous as it was
I could remember the crash
shards of glass hurled to my eyes
the painful crush of metal on my back
the taste of blood in my mouth
everything grew silent around us
is it as disasterous as it was
I could remember the tombstone
a two word epitaph
"love and courage" it read, gray and bold
it's always what you lived by
now it's what I've lost
it is as disasterous as it was
