Jasmine

Jasmine was an innocent soul.
         Who married a narcissistic pig.
After three months she was pregnant.
The news was embrace with a brick in her face.
He did not sign up for that.
He was not ready to be a dad.

       He wanted his freedom.
Drink and have parties with his friends.
       She endured the violence.
       Kept silent.
A second baby was on the way.
But that did not stop the pain.

       His raged got even worse.
She wanted to file for a divorce.
      He made her scared,
      Promised her death.

      After years of abused.
      She devised an escape plan.
      On a dark, stormy night,
She grabbed the kids and ran away.
       But to all dismay,
A drunk driver did a hit and run.
       Three lives end.
