Japan
You will rise up yet again
from the rubble the earth has smite you down with
this I am reminded of
as I perchance to glance at the branches
heavily laden with cherry blossom
you too shall bloom
and Japan's children will once again grow strong
and wise
after surviving the unimaginable
once more
your voices will ring in harmony
and your land will be renewed
