January, February

January, February
This moon is noon-sun bright
It’s luminary
Incendiary
And it’s glowing snowy white

Blue and green
And aquamarine
Are nature’s precious gems
A silver sheen
A golden gleam
Is seen in each of them

January, February
Contrary to this verse
We’ll sing what’s sung
When spring has sprung
In a garden of our words.
