January Fades

January fades into colorless shades
revealing a pale shade of white
a choking chill, swallows winters pill
it's too cold for angels to fly.
for desolation days are reasons people pray
the blueprint of end times is near
blackbird's dead rivers turning red
signs of scripture to fear.
A charismatic figure, genocide triggered
a false prophet arrives with hope
signs fulfilled; humanity killed
the resignation of the pope
Armageddon doom, the anti-Christ looms
a world tricked into believing a lie
a coming deception a bride's winter reception
lasting forty days and forty nights

January fades
spiritual shades
transformed to the clouds above
raptured in light
it's a beautiful sight
to witness January pour out its love.
