January

Jaded we may feel as we grow older and older, and yet At its appointed time, the new year unfalteringly approaches. New hope shines on an otherwise barren horizon. Unglamorous and even a little ugly the world may seem As we in winter’s grasp already dream of a rosy spring! Ripe resolutions are being birthed in January’s gloom; as time races on, Yearning for things more beautiful and bright seems a frivolous plight. It's not the growing so much as the older part of the first line....Congrats on your placement Andrea.

Very well summarizes the ambivalence of beginning a new year in the clutch of cold winter! Congratulations, Andrea, thanks for entering!

Beautiful, Andrea - fits me, I'm sure excited about seeing Spring, and I will see her this year, I'm sure I will. No more coats, shoes or goosebumps. I like yours better than mine which is a bit different, I think. I'm sure this will do very well. Love ... CayCay
